Processing of any student data, admission registration, or health documentation occurs exclusively upon verifiable consent provided by the child's lawful parent or legal guardian.

Prohibition of Tracking & Profiling

We strictly do NOT undertake behavioral monitoring, tracking, or targeted advertising directed at children, nor do we process children's data likely to cause any detrimental effect on their well-being.

Categories of Data Collected

We collect and process only data strictly necessary for academic enrollment and campus management:

  • Student Identification: Full name, date of birth, gender, nationality, class applied for, photograph, and mother tongue.
  • Parent/Guardian Information: Parent/Guardian names, contact numbers, email addresses, occupational details, and physical residential address.
  • Academic Records: Previous school marksheets, transfer certificates (TC), and academic evaluation history.
  • Official Verifications: Birth certificate issued by competent civic authorities (Nagar Palika/Gram Panchayat/Hospital) and Aadhaar verification details for statutory registration.
  • Digital Metadata: Standard non-identifying server logs, browser type, and timestamps strictly for cybersecurity and site performance.

Purpose of Data Processing

Data is processed exclusively under lawful educational grounds:

  • Administering student admissions, enrollment, class allocations, and identity generation.
  • Academic tracking, continuous comprehensive evaluation, and board exam compliance.
  • Emergency communication with parents/guardians regarding campus notifications, health alerts, or transport changes.
  • Issuing official report cards, transfer certificates, and bonafide documentation.
  • Compliance with directives issued by the Department of Basic/Secondary Education, Government of Uttar Pradesh, or law enforcement agencies.

Data Storage, Confidentiality & Security Measures

In compliance with Rule 8 of the Information Technology SPDI Rules 2011, New City Montessori School employs comprehensive physical, electronic, and procedural controls:

• Encrypted transmission (HTTPS / SSL 256-bit encryption) across all web forms and administrative interfaces.

• Strict Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC) ensuring only authorized admission personnel access records.

• Absolute prohibition on the sale, rental, monetization, or commercial distribution of student or parent data.

Rights of Parents & Guardians (Data Principals)

Under the DPDP Act 2023, lawful parents and guardians hold the following statutory rights regarding their child's data:

  • Right to Access: Request a summary of personal data held and processed by the school.
  • Right to Correction & Updation: Request prompt correction of inaccurate, misleading, or outdated personal information.
  • Right to Erasure: Request deletion of admission inquiries where enrollment was not pursued, subject to statutory retention limits.
  • Right of Grievance Redressal: Register complaints with our designated Grievance Officer and subsequently with the Data Protection Board of India.
